The Volunteer tour includes sightseeing trips to the World Heritage sites in Kathmandu, Volunteer teaching in local schools, participating in the day-to-day local household activities and learning the lifestyle, culture, festivals, and rituals of the locals from experiences rather than a guide who can’t stop talking.
But, it is not just about helping the locals. The trip also includes a visit to one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal – Chitwan National Park, blessed with a variety of fauna and flora. In addition, you will see vibrant villages and irrigated terraces and gain firsthand experience of Nepal’s rural landscapes.

About the Village:
The tour plans take you to Khahare Village, a remote Nepali Village located around 130 km North West of the capital – Kathmandu. This will take a 6-7 hours drive by local bus or jeep. The only means of transportation to this place is by road.
The participation and volunteering activities involved in your trip are to be carried out with the locals at this place.

Day 01
Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters):
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your hotel, followed by a brief description of the Volunteer Tour in Nepal program; Stay overnight at the hotel. (A)
Day 2
Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley and pre-trip meeting:
After breakfast, we proceed on our sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley which includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa as a part of Volunteer in Nepal tour. Please note, all of these monuments are UNESCO declared World Heritage sites that represent a wonderful mix of Hinduism & Buddhism. Your tour will be accompanied by a professional licensed guide. A pre-trip meeting about the upcoming volunteer tour program will follow and stay overnight at Hotel. (A, B)
Day 3
Drive from Kathmandu to Khahare Bazaar – 7 Hours:
After an early breakfast, we drive along Kathmandu – Pokhara High way for the first part of our program (journey) “Volunteer tour in Nepal”. We will then drive along many vibrant villages and irrigated terraces to Khahare. This will give you the firsthand experience of Nepal’s rural landscapes. Once reach the village, welcome by the villagers, interact with the locals and overnight at local house/homestay. (A, B, L, D).
Day 04-Day 011
Within the span of Day 4 to Day 11, you will take 10 Volunteer Teaching classes in local Schools, visit the neighboring villages, fish in Netrawait River, hike and visit the Tripurasundari Temple, visit the Netra Tal ( Lake), interact with the locals and share experiences you’ve gathered during the days of ‘Volunteer in Nepal’ program. Stay overnight at local house/home stay.
Day 11
Drive to Chitwan National park.
After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the Chitwan National Park where you will see various flora and fauna and gather more experiences and stories to share. Stay overnight at a lodge.
Day 12
Full Day Jungle Activities:
After breakfast we set out for a full day of jungle activities that include Jungle Walking, Elephant Back Riding Safari across streams & into the jungles; we also enjoy watching the Elephants bathing and visit the Elephant Breeding center, at eventide. While having supper, we enjoy a scintillating Tharu cultural stick dance that’s really exciting to watch in the evening. Stay overnight at our lodge (A, B, L, D).
Day 13
Chitwan- Kathmandu:
In the morning after breakfast, we drive to Kathmandu. The evening is free and stay overnight at your Hotel B.B
Day 14
Transfer to international airport for your final departure B
