Mount Kailash Mansarovar

15 days

Legend reads Lake Mansarovar’s (4583 m) mystical powers to erase negative thoughts, materialistic desires, and past sins. It is also believed that rinsing oneself on this holy lake drives away diseases and brings countless other benefits. Apart from its magical powers, Lake Mansarovar is a picturesque beauty one should visit at least once in their lifetime.

Note: After the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, the Overland Tour that used the Tatopani Border between Nepal and Tibet has been closed. However, the Kerung Border has been opened and trips take to this Border these days.

Don’t miss a chance to travel through the scintillating Mt Kailash and make your way through the holy lands of Tibet to the sacred Lake Mansarovar. Mount Kailash Mansarovar trip is something you will never forget!

Mt Kailash envelopes Lake Mansarovar on all sides presenting a scintillating blend of colors from the beautiful shades of blue to the white of the snow and the brown of the earth. Hindus hold this place dear to their hearts as it is believed to be built as a refuge to Brahma’s sons for their meditation.  Lake Mansarovar was once surrounded by eight monasteries, believed to be the eight points of the wheel of Dharma. Unfortunately, during the Cultural Revolution in Tibet, the red guards destroyed most of them. However, restoration is in full effect.

Flocks of swans swarm into the lake during summer bringing more life to the area.

If not clean your past, this lake has the power to sweep the land away from your feet. It will surely leave a lasting imprint on your heart and soul.
