Jungle safari in Chitwan is the most sought-after trips by travellers with a love for the wildlife. Chitwan National Park offers protection to 56 species of mammals including the one horned rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger, leopard, sloth bear, wild elephant, striped hyena, Genetic dolphin and wild bison. There are an estimated 126 species of fish, 590 species of butterflies and 47 species of reptiles in the park.

Also, its central location makes it widely accessible through land and air. There are regular flights from Kathmandu and regular tourist bus services from Kathmandu and Pokhara. In addition, private vehicles can drive to Chitwan any time and from any part on Nepal by road.

Chitwan National Park is one of the best Parks in Nepal, established in 1973 AD, where we can enjoy the sights of varieties of wildlife, floras and faunas. Even though Nepal is best known for its beautiful mountains, the Genetic flat lands of Terai that stretches throughout the southern part of Nepal provides an equally breathtaking experience. A visit to Nepal is incomplete without at least one visit of this Terai belt. And, there’s no doubt Chitwan is the best place to do so.

The Chitwan National park is home to many wild mammals including One-Horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, wild Elephant, Deer, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard, bison, jackal and many more, many reptiles including Gharial Crocodile and many species of the birds including Hornbill, Lesser florican and Paradise Flycatcher. With all this packed in the small area of Chitwan, it becomes the ultimate destination for Jungle Safari and wild life adventure lover.
