The advent of every new year brings with it the assault of two days of non stop football, relentless competition, sheer enthusiasm, glorious victories and painstaking defeats.
There is no doubt the Kandel Cup, organized by Yeti FC, has become a highly anticipated event for Nepalese Football Clubs in Australia. Teams fly into Melbourne from different cities just to be a part of this event. And, why not! With its unprecedented and successful history, it is rather an opportunity for teams to be a part of this remarkable event.
This year, the two day football carnival is planned for the 9th and 10th of March at the Darebin International Sports Centre. And, it is divided into two divisions – Open Age and Over 35+.
In its recent press conference, Yeti Football Club announced the participation of 24 teams from all across Australia – Melbourne, Sydney, Tasmania, Canberra, Darwin and Adelaide.
The organizers expressed their pleasure in hosting the competition that brings Nepalese from all walks of life together and hoped that this venture is able to aide the development of Nepalese sports not just in Australia but all across the globe.

To maintain fair play and discipline in the field, the organizers committed to have a board of referees to check such issues. All actions in the pitch will be discussed by the group of referees and a decision will be given. This will be the final verdict reported the organizers.
