Group of Nepalese community youths from Sydney are getting together to host a fund raising gala dinner in a bid to help under priviledged Nepalese children. Help Matribhumi gala dinner on 28th of January at Indreni function centre ,Rockdale aims to raise fund for 103 Nepalese children from rural Nepal by providing them computers and internet to educate and empower them. Part of the proceeding will also go toward VFM, vision for motivation, an organistion established for the international student welfare .
Bijay Paul, one of the torch bearer of the VFM movement has shared that the gala dinner is one important step towards their dream to better the future of rural Nepalese kids. He said in his facebook page “its about the broader picture of serving back our motherland , at the same time enjoying a night full of good food , music and other activities.”
Sydney based Nepalese musical talent such as Samir Acharya, Ishwor Pokharel, Rajkumar Goswami, Pradeep Chapagain and Dil Tamang will be performing on the night to entertain the attendees.
Many Nepalese individuals and businesses have supported the event with open arms. Everest view Travels have joined the campaign as proud partner of the event.
